FAQ & Policies
Payment
Tuition for camp is due at the time of registration in order to save your child's spot. Our camps do fill up, so don't wait too long. Full refunds will only be considered in extenuating circumstances. All changes and cancellations for camp need to be made by email. We do not prorate days for our camps.
Lunch
Please pack a lunch and water bottle everyday. We take a break for lunch and play at noon. Please do not send items containing peanut products with your camper, we are a peanut-free studio.
Photographs
We may use photographs of your child and/or their artwork for promotional purposes on our website or other social media platforms. We will not identify children by name, unless we have parent/guardian consent.
Illnesses
We are a small, safe, outdoor studio. We follow Ottawa County Health Department's most up-to-date safety protocols. If your child has a highly contagious illness -- COVID 19, lice, pink eye, or other transmittable disease, do not attend camp and let us know as soon as possible so we can attempt to reschedule missed days.
Where is the studio?
Painted Twig art camps are located in our family-owned, backyard studio, Ottawa House Clay + Glass. You can find us at 9384 Ottawa House Drive in West Olive.
Tell me about pick up and Drop off
If possible, please park on Ottawa House Drive so we eliminate car congestion in the driveway.
What to wear
Art making is messy. Please send your child in clothes/shoes that you don't mind getting wet or dirty. Crocs, keens, or rubber sandals are great footwear. Our backyard is shady and near the lake, so a sweatshirt or extra layer is great.
Bug spray & Sunscreen
We can't provide it, or apply it, so send it with your child or apply before they arrive.
